All adults are entitled to the opportunity to participate in valued employment.

Our aim is introduce employees to a supported and inclusive work environment and assist them to achieve to a standard that may eventually lead to open employment.

Our policies are guided by the Disability Services Standards and we are funded by the Federal Government.

Support and assistance is provided by trained Employment Officers enabling employees to reach their full potential. The George Gray Centre has one social enterprise:

Foster Place Gardening Service

Foster Place Gardening Service is a Maffra and Sale-based social enterprise providing a fast, reliable residential and commercial lawn mowing service. Real life, real work, real wages.

The property maintenance department operates three mowing crews who provide services to private, commercial and contractual customers. Our employees become familiar with all aspects of property maintenance from lawn care to equipment maintenance.

Whether you need a one-off service to tidy up your lawn or you need a regular service, we can help. We’re happy to meet with you to discuss your needs and give you a price.

Quotes are obligation and cost free and are based on the type of lawn being mowed and the area size.
